Told through breathtaking shadow puppetry, actors in silhouette, and evocative live music, Manual Cinema’s latest theatrical experience is a “visually sumptuous” (City Paper) inversion of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Red Arrow is proud to present this pop-up exhibition at that unfolds in dialogue with the exciting performances at OZ Arts. This curated selection of works inspired by the Spring & Summer performances offer an extra dimension of expression from artists living across Tennessee, as well as Birmingham, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles. By situating visual artworks within the ecosystem of live performance, Red Arrow and OZ Arts celebrate cross-disciplinary exchange between artists working across mediums and exploring similar ideas.
