Poetry Sucks! on Facebook

Ever cook a sumptuous dinner and didn’t get to enjoy it…because you were cooking? Poetry Sucks! wants to remedy the situation, except for delicious language.

We’re inviting those who host, curate, organize, and promote readings and open-mics in Nashville to read their own writing. It’s their chance to get out of the kitchen. So come out to hear and hear about the growing language scene in LANGUAGE City, USA. Ahem, and dare I say, let’s see what’s cooking.

  • Susannah Felts (of The Porch Writer’s Collective)
  • Todd Dills (of 2nd Hand)
  • Christine Hall (of Poetry at the Brew)
  • Mike Pierce (of Poetry at the Brew)
  • M Dot Da Poet (of That’s That Juice)
  • Chuck Beard (East Side Storytellin’)
  • Serenity Gerbman (of Southern Festival of Books)
  • Ciona Rouse (of Lyrical Brew)
  • Honest Lewis (of A Night of Free Speech)
  • Rita Bullwinkle (of Band of Poets)
