OZ founder releases art book

Cano Ozgener, the artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded the contemporary arts center OZ Arts Nashville in 2013, didn’t begin making art until the age of 70. Now, he has released his first art book. Printed in Italy and simply titled “Cano Ozgener,” the 144-page coffee table book showcases images of the artist’s paintings, sculptures and installations, including his Pi Synesthesia series. Much of his work takes inspiration from his early life in Turkey, his background in engineering and his love of Meerschaum pipes. The book can be purchased in-person at OZ Arts or online at www.canoozgener.com. Retail cost is $59.95; all sales benefit OZ Arts.
