…Since it opened in 2014, OZ Arts has been the venue you can count on for internationally renowned appearances from across the contemporary arts spectrum, from Wayne McGregor and Philip Glass to Laurie Anderson and Sandra Bernhard. Their local art exhibits have been getting better and better, and the salon-style fundraiser Conversations at OZ is exactly the kind of thing that will take it to the next level. On Jan. 27, you can join in on conversations with a diverse lineup of some of Nashville’s most interesting residents. A sampling of potential discussions you can participate in includes ice-breakers about fetal neurosurgery with Vanderbilt Medical Center’s chief of pediatric neurosurgery Dr. Jay Wellons III, or a conversation about social justice with CEO of the National Museum of African American Music Henry Beecher Hicks III. Visit ozartsnashville.org/conversations for details on the 29 topics you can discuss with more than 30 participants.
