Max Goldberg:
Max R. Goldberg, Co-Owner, Strategic Hospitality, Nashville, TN. Founded in 2006, Strategic Hospitality currently holds fourteen hospitality businesses in Nashville including Merchants, The Patterson House, The Catbird Seat, Pinewood Social, Bastion, Henrietta Red, The Band Box, The Country Club at The Band Box, Downtown Sporting Club, Commissary, The Party Line, Locust, Airport Restaurant Concepts, and the recently revived Paradise Park Trailer Resort. Strategic Hospitality employs over 700 people across its venues. Max sits on the board of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp, the Community Foundation, OZ Arts, and the Nashville Symphony Marketing Committee. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization, Entrepreneurs Organization, as well a 2016 graduate from Leadership Nashville. Max has been recognized as one of Forbes 30 Under 30, Nashville Business Journal 40 Under 40, and the Nashville Business Journal Power 100. Max’s nomination for the 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 James Beard Foundation Awards for Outstanding Restaurateur attests to his entrepreneurial drive, innovative ideas, and focus on exceptional customer service within each of his establishments. He is a member of the 2019 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute. Max enjoys anything involving the outdoors, specifically fly fishing, bone fishing, skiing, hunting, golfing, scuba diving and recently dove with Great White Sharks in Guadlupe Island. Max earned his BSBA in business management and economics from Denver University where he served as student body president. Max lives in Nashville with his better half Alice, their cat Daphne, and their two French bulldogs Jolene and Onyx.

Sylvia Rapoport:
Sylvia Rapoport was born and raised in Nashville. She studied art and history at the University of London with graduate work at Brandeis University.
Sylvia currently serves in Congressman Jim Cooper’s office as Criminal Justice and Sentencing Reform Fellow.
As Founding President of Centennial Park Conservancy, she increased the organization’s operating budget more than ten-fold and was responsible for launching two of our community’s free programs for families: Musicians Corner and Kidsville at the Parthenon. In addition, she has headed a $30 million capital campaign to revitalize Centennial Park.
Sylvia has held volunteer leadership roles in over 30 organizations including The Equity Alliance, Anti-Defamation League, Boston Children’s Museum, Nashville Children’s Theatre, and Jewish Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Sylvia is the mother of Benjamin and Max Goldberg.
