Belle Meade Bourbon: The Art of Crafting a Heritage Brand of Tennessee Whiskey

Andy and Charlie Nelson are the fifth generation decedents of Charles Nelson, a German immigrant whose drive and ingenuity built the most productive distillery in pre-prohibition America. Today, with whiskey in their blood, the Nelson brothers have revived the historic family business, and are reproducing the legendary Belle Meade Bourbon and Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery’s in Nashville, TN. The small batch spirits have received honors from Garden & Gun’s “Made in the South Awards,” Southern Living’s “Food Awards” and two Double Gold medal accolades from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
