A Cinderella Story: Fashion Designer to Collector of Antique Laces and Textiles

Pat Kerr is an internationally known fashion designer started by Neiman Marcus, collector of antique lace and royal memorabilia, a philanthropist and volunteer. She currently resides in Memphis and commutes to London and New York for her business. Kerr previously lived in London, England almost 20 years.

Kerr has been associated with major bridal shows all over America including World Class Weddings with Dupont; Cartier; Plaza Hotel; New York’s Crosby Hotel; Waldorf Astoria; Ritz Carlton as well as featured in special promotions with Wedgewood, Gorham, Tiffany’s, Waterford Crystal and Martha Stewart.

PAT KERR’s Private Royal Collection includes gowns owned and worn by Diana, Princess of Wales from the legendary New York Christie’s sale, 100 items from the famous Sotheby’s Royal sale of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s collection. . .plus over a thousand other items.  Selections from the PAT KERR Private Collection have been included in exhibitions at museums including Kensington Palace, London: “Fashion Rules, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Margaret and Diana, Princess of Wales”; The Ferragamo Museum, Florence, Italy; The Prague Castle Museum, Prague, Czech Republic; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Fashion Institute of Technology Museum, New York, among others.

Pat Kerr returns to Kensington Palace February 2017 as one of twenty collectors around the world to be featured for the 20th Anniversary of Diana, Princess of Wales, death. This collection is highly anticipated and will be on exhibit in Kensington Palace for a three-year stay.

For 22 years, Pat Kerr Tigrett served as the General Chairman of The Blues Ball in Memphis. She is also the Founder and General Chairman of The Jingle Bell Ball, which recently celebrated the 28th annual holiday event for children.
