OZ Arts Nashville

COVID-19 UPDATES

Updated June 3, 2020

Dear OZ Arts Community,

Nashville’s artistic community has always been resourceful and resilient. Long before we were the “It City,” there were artists laying the foundation for a thriving dance scene, reimagining the world around us through visual art and film, and pushing the boundaries of what magical feats can happen on stage with a shoestring budget. You continue to inspire us with your bravery and creative solutions during this challenging time for our community.

As we all continue to experience the impacts of COVID-19, we are moving quickly to respond to changing circumstances. In support of public health and safety, our administrative staff is currently working remotely. For assistance, please email us at info@ozartsnashville.org or call our temporary phone number at 615-669-4528.

In accordance with CDC and Metro Nashville Health Department recommendations, OZ Arts Nashville’s in-person 2019-2020 season programming has been postponed, including productions of Steal Away, Ronald K. Brown / EVIDENCE, and Grand Magnolia. Ticket holders have been contacted via email and new dates will be announced. For updates on private events, please contact the individual event’s organizers.

For artists facing challenges during this time, The Arts & Business Council of NashvilleThe Tennessee Arts CommissionCreative Capital, and Dance Magazine are offering resources across all disciplines for individuals, managers/agents, funders, arts organizations, and arts philanthropists that may be helpful.

This unexpected and forced pause will allow us to dig deeper, discover ever more authentic expressions of our world, and will make our reunion together in creative spaces even sweeter than it was before. We look forward to welcoming you back into the theater as soon as we’re able.
