OZ launches film series

Spend your weekend at OZ Arts Nashville as it kicks off its third season with “Film:Masters,” the three-night signature program of NYC’s The Modern School of Film. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday respectively, MSF founder Robert Milazzo will host comedian, actress, singer and writer Sandra Bernhard, the comedy duo Tim & Eric, and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys for a screening and discussion of a film that has made a significant impact on their work. Films are “Purple Rain”(Bernhard), “Waiting for Guffman” (Tim & Eric), and “Caddyshack” (Carney). Each screening starts at 7 p.m. 6172 Cockrill Bend Circle.
