“Arguably the world’s most celebrated dancer and choreographer, De Keersmaeker’s vast body of work has inspired art across the genres and platforms.”

Brussels Times

“A reflection of today’s world: chaotic, exciting and unexpected. The two artists throw themselves into the adventure with poetry, conviction and some welcome notes of humor.”

Coups d’Oeil

One of the world’s most influential contemporary choreographers, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker joins forces with Moroccan dance artist Radouan Mriziga for a breathtaking reimagination of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Sweeping across the stage with a mix of exuberant passion and mesmerizing precision, four extraordinary dancers trace intricate geometric patterns that echo the rhythms of the natural world while questioning humanity’s changing relationship to it. Performed by members of de Keersmaeker’s legendary Brussels-based company Rosas, Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Inventione transforms one of classical music’s most beloved masterpieces into a spellbinding meditation on beauty, time, and the climate crisis. As L’Echo declared, it’s “Vivaldi like you’ve never seen before.”

For more than four decades, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker has redefined contemporary dance through her groundbreaking explorations of movement, music, and mathematical structure, inspiring generations of choreographers around the world. In this striking collaboration with Mriziga, whose Hip-hop influenced work similarly explores geometry, architecture, and the natural environment, familiar melodies become the foundation for an exhilarating new choreographic language — at once rigorously composed, emotionally resonant, and urgently of our moment.
